Terms of use

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Hazerefuge Ltd ("Hazerefuge," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to the Hazerefuge website, account features, slot-style games, leaderboards, daily activities, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Notice and Gold Rules.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract where you live. The Service is not directed to children. You may not use the Service where access to social casino games is prohibited by applicable law. You are responsible for checking the rules that apply in your location.

3. Entertainment only

The Service does not offer real-money gambling. Hazerefuge does not accept deposits or wagers of money, does not sell virtual currency, and does not award cash, merchandise, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or anything else of value. Success in Hazerefuge does not imply future success at gambling, investing, or any activity involving financial risk.

4. Accounts

You may hold one personal account. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and notify hello@hazerefuge.com if you believe someone accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account until you report unauthorized access. Usernames are public on the leaderboard, so do not include your legal name, contact details, or sensitive information in a username.

We may require email verification, limit automated requests, or temporarily protect an account when we detect unusual activity. You may delete your account from Account Settings. Deletion permanently ends access and removes your Gold and game history after any necessary security or legal retention period.

5. Gold and game rules

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable license to use Gold only inside the Service. You do not own Gold. Gold has no monetary value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and is not refundable because it is never sold. Hazerefuge may correct a balance affected by a confirmed technical error, abuse, duplicate reward, or invalid result. The current earning, wagering, payline, and leaderboard rules are in the Gold Rules.

6. Random outcomes

Member game results are generated by the server when a valid spin request is accepted. Reel animation is presentation only and does not change the recorded result. Random play can include losing streaks, repeated symbols, or unusual sequences. No outcome is guaranteed. A completed spin recorded in our game ledger controls if the visual animation is interrupted.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, macros, emulators, or automated means to play or claim rewards;
• exploit, probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security or rate limits;
• create duplicate accounts to manipulate rewards or leaderboard position;
• sell, transfer, advertise, or falsely represent accounts or Gold as having value;
• use a username or communication that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, deceptive, or infringes another person’s rights; or
• use the Service for commercial promotion, fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and use proportionate measures, including removing a username, correcting Gold, limiting features, suspending access, or closing an account. We will consider the nature, severity, and recurrence of the conduct. Where practical and lawful, we will explain material account action and provide a way to contact support.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its games, visual design, software, text, artwork, logo, and trademarks, is owned by Hazerefuge or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms permit personal use of the Service only. They do not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, public display, or creation of a competing service.

10. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, add, or retire features and games. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or preservation of any particular game, balance, rank, or activity. If a material change negatively affects your use, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email when feasible.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that it will always be available, error-free, or meet every expectation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hazerefuge and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the Service. Because the Service accepts no payment, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed US $100. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established. If mandatory consumer law gives you rights or a local forum that cannot be waived, those rights remain in effect.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, or product changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using and delete your account.
